Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance team, including accountants and financial analysts/economists.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely information to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance indicators, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive cost efficiency, optimize financial processes, and support business growth initiatives.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits and tax filings.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, accounting pronouncements, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance financial performance.

Competence & qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian language (written and spoken).
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a focus on accounting, preferably within a global production company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
• Solid understanding of tax laws, compliance requirements, and financial controls.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with complex ERP systems.
